**Thomas Bérard only spent one semester at the Lycée, but it was enough to make a lasting impression. He sends greetings from Ridgefield, CT.
**Nicolas Boulgaris was married last year. He works in a private bank in Geneva.
**Anita Masson (Quéré) was married two years ago and is now the proud mother of a 10-month-old baby girl, Clara. She lives in Paris with her husband, Laurent, and works for the German high-fashion company, Escada, where she puts into practice her language skills acquired at the Lycée.
**Laurence Meneboo Guiheux est avocate à Paris et a un petit garçon.

**Amaryllis (Beirne Keyt) Daniels is currently living in Idaho with her husband, Todd. She is working at Hewlett Packard in Boise in the field of software distribution. She has also recently bought a horse! Patrick Vincent writes: "After living seven years in California, I recently returned to Switzerland where I teach English and American literature at the University of Fribourg and ski every weekend. I'd love to hear from Alexander Marin and others from '88 who seem particularly silent....»
**Nadia Abbadi Altomare is living in the heart of the city of Boston where she completed her MBA and never left. Recently married; directs the Patient & Physician Services Department of a biotech firm which will go public sometime this year.

**Amaury de Barros Conti is married since 1997 and lives in San Antonio, Texas. He works as a senior trader at US Global Funds.
**Patricia Zwerling Crook: Married two years, she writes: "I live in NYC; my husband, Edward Thatcher Crook works for Solomon Smith Barney. I will be working for American Airlines, once again, this summer as an International Flight attendant, and my best friend is still Delphina Carriglio '88 whose mother was my teacher in 11eme!"
**Clotilde (Teiling) Perbost writes: "I live in the Silicon Valley (CA), and work for Agilent Technologies doing Research on DNA Chips. I am married and have Camille (2 yrs), who shall go to the Lycée Français de Sunnyvale in a year. I'd love to hear from Christophe Fraise, Charles- Henri Joel '88. Thank you "Roger Sanit" (that's Roger Liwer '68) for finding me!"
**Janine (Treves) Habar: Currently living in Paris with husband and 18 month old daughter Zoe. She works for Berghahn Books on a part-time basis, editing manuscripts for publication in the humanities and social sciences. She writes: "I recently checked out the Lycée website and was impressed with its contents (and sad to learn about the sale of that beautiful building in which I spent so many years of my childhood). But we must all adapt to the times, mustn't we?"
**Liliane Kankindi Bwakira a quitté à la fin de la seconde pour finir dans un autre lycée francais en Afrique. Elle est de retour à NY où elle fait un "grad. program" et travaille à Standard & Poor's.
**Shawn Fields became engaged to Jorge Rodriguez on March 16th, 2001.

**Raoul Jacquand writes: "After leaving NY in 1985, I spent the next 12 years in France to complete my studies and start my professional life with Nortel Networks. I got married in 1994 and we now have 2 boys, respectively 2 years old and 6-months old. Since 1997 we have been living in Munich, Germany, where we experience the benefits of being centrally located at the heart of Europe. Though the telecom sector is going through some difficult times, I enjoy my work as a wireless systems engineering manager."
**Hania Abrous, according to her sister Leila '89, is a CPA certified accountant/auditor and manager with KPMG Pete Marwick in Luxembourg.
**Nicolas Boulgaris left his job in Private Banking, and is currently participating in the MBA program at INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France).

**Amaury de Barros Conti writes: “Thank you for all the news and work you guys are putting together! Just wanted to update some of my info. I just finished my MBA in Financial Management at St. Marys' University here in San Antonio, Texas this semester. Just celebrated my fourth wedding anniversary, no kids yet, and still work at US Global Investors as an Institutional Trader. Next is the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam, and possibly starting a family... I last heard from Aida Wane '88 about 6 months ago, and she was in Chicago. My brother Thibaut '93 is currently applying to graduate school and looks forward to starting next fall.»
**Marie-Christine Loewenstein writes: “So happy to have found this site. Such excellent memories of my 4 years at the Lycée! I got married in 2000 to Damien Vanden Dael and gave birth to 2 great little guys (real twins) in September 2001: Diego and Eliott. I live in Brussels and my sister Anne Loewenstein ‘90 also. I have been working at Ferrero (chocolate company which produces Nutella, Rocher, Kinder, Tic Tac) for 8 years and I am product manager for a series of products (all except Kinder Line) for the Benelux.”
**Aida Wane writes: “After leaving the Lycée I went to Allegheny for college. I graduated from there in ‘91 and lived in 3 different African countries until settling back in the States in 1995. I'm now a Chicagoan working for an educational publisher. Thanks for the great work in helping us reconnect.”

**Aida Wane writes: “After leaving the Lycée I went to Allegheny for college. I graduated in ‘91 and lived in 3 different African countries until settling back in the States in 1995. I'm now a Chicagoan working for an educational publisher. Thanks for the great work in helping us reconnect.”
**Virginia Mennesson writes: "It's great to have found this site at last! I have been living in London for the last 8 years and work for the Financial Services Authority (the main regulating body for the financial industry in the UK) as a Policy Adviser. I have not been back to NY since I left the Lycée to study law in France and the UK. I have fond memories of my 2 years in NY (those endless runs around Central Park in gym class!) I hope to hear from other alumni soon!"
**Clothilde (Teiling) Perbost nous écrit : « J'ai récemment déménagé de la Californie au Connecticut où je ne travaille plus pour l'instant car je viens d'avoir un petit garçon, Georges Enguerrand le 29 mars 2002. Cela fait toujours plaisir de lire les dernières nouvelles sur tout le monde de notre classe; Je recherche toujours Christophe Fraise-quelqu'un sait où il est ? »

Births/Naissances: Nicolas Boulgaris '88 and his wife, Ursina, have the great pleasure of announcing the birth of their son Philippe, in March.
Alexandra (Cavignaux) Ansaldi writes: “The two years I spent at the Lycée and in NYC were unforgettable. I've been living in Paris for almost 10 years now; I got married last year to a philosophy professor. I work now as a translator-terminologist (French, English, Russian and Italian) for the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry in Paris.”

Isabelle (Périssé) Guludec writes: “My husband Marc and I have a little boy born October 9, 2001; his name is Keenan Jean Marc.”

Shawn Fields and her husband Jorge Rodriguez relocated to London from New York in May 2004. Shawn is working for PepsiCo International's UK Division in marketing. They are living in South Kensington.
Whitney Postman wrote: "The professional update: Earlier this year I moved to the Washington DC area for a job as a post-doctoral fellow at National Institutes of Health, where I am involved in research on brain and language using imaging techniques such as fMRI, with special emphasis on the neural basis of language recovery in post-stroke aphasia. The personal update: The attached photo of me was taken in August at the Indonesian Embassy in DC. As a doctoral student I'd done some linguistic research in Indonesia. Yet despite my overall greater interest in that Southeast Asian country and its people, I find myself dating a lovely French man from Amiens, also a post-doc at NIH....Affectueusement, Whitney"
Nicolas Boulgaris is "back in the world of Private banking after graduating from INSEAD. Our second child, Catherine was born in January."
● And this from Aida(Wane) Neary: "I got married in June of this year to a wonderful man, Tim Neary, and after nine wonderful years in Chicago, we moved to Texas where my husband got a job teaching History at Stephen F. Austin State University. After two months of doing nothing, I got a job at the university as the assistant to the Board of Regents. So after five months of marriage, Tim and I find ourselves on oppposite sides of university life ( academia vs. administration)."
