Hogi Hyun is responsible for overseeing all investment activities. He was formerly a Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company in Singapore where he established and managed its corporate finance, risk management and investment management businesses for Southeast Asia. While in Singapore, Hogi conceived and ran the Bankers Trust Regional Currency Funds and Global Guaranteed Funds. Prior to his move to Singapore, he was based in Bankers Trust Company's Hong Kong office where he established its Capital Markets Division for Southeast Asia. Hogi joined Bankers Trust, New York in 1987 where he began his career in the sales and trading of capital markets products. In 1989, he moved to London to develop Banker's Trust's equity derivatives business. Hogi is a member of the Investment Panel of The Enterprise Challenge, a S$20 million venture fund backed by the Singapore Prime Minster's Office, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Singapore Civil Service College.
Hogi graduated Magna cum laude from Yale University, USA in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies.
He studied at the Beijing Foreign Languages Institute and Fudan University in Shanghai, and holds the Grand Diplôme from La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine in Paris.
