Adam M. Lindemann has been a member of Southern Union Company’s board of directors since 1990. He is chairman of the board’s Investment Committee and a member of its Management Committee.
Lindemann is co-founder and president of Mega Communications, a Spanish radio group serving the East Coast of the United States since 1998.
Previously, Lindemann was senior vice president in the arbitrage group of Oppenheimer & Company, where he was actively engaged in trading securities based upon arbitrage and other investment strategies. Before joining Oppenheimer & Company, he was vice president and served on the board of directors of Metro Mobile CTS, Inc., which was the nation’s second largest independent cellular telephone company until its merger with Bell Atlantic Corporation in 1992.
Lindemann is a 1987 graduate of Yale Law School and a 1983 magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College. He also received a French Baccalaureate degree in language and philosophy from Lycee Francais de New York in 1979.
Lindemann is the son of George L. Lindemann, chairman of the board of Southern Union.
