On the Internet, Class of 1972: Carol-Ann (Holzberger) Braun & Catherine Healey

Carol-Ann Holzberger '76 is a graduate of Princeton's Art and Archeology Department (Visual Studies Program). She started working with digital media soon after her MFA in Painting at Cornell University (1982), where she experimented with room-scale collages of images and text. In the past fifteen years she has created interactive renditions of poetical texts, including a CD-ROM based on Raymond Queneau's Un Conte à Votre Façon (published by Gallimard), Machines à Ecrire (1996), and Irreversibility (1997), a virtual reality installation based on a poem by Blake Leland and shown at Unesco, Paris. Her more pictorial digital work has been shown in various galleries, including the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (1994).
Catherine Healey: Dr. Healey received a Baccalaureate from Lycée Français de New York, an A.B. from Bryn Mawr College, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in history from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Healey has taught history and geography, and her professional experience includes serving as director of studies and adjunct assistant professor at Southern Methodist University in Paris. Her writings have been published numerous times in French and English publications. Dr. Healey joined UMUC-Europe in 2001.
