Class of 1969 Reunion in New Yorkby Carole Hansen '69The class of 1969 held its first ever reunion in New York City on Saturday August 7. A call had gone out to the class members via e-mail. Many would have liked to attend but could not be in New York at that time, however eleven members of the class did get together, along with one member of the class of 1968. Four of us toured the Lycee's new building. We were very impressed by the excellent new facility, but still a little nostalgic for the charm of our former Lycée. The whole group met for dinner at the Bistro les Amis . In attendance were Remy Ayache, Alphonse Bernard, Jackie (Moreau) Bernard, Xavier Bretillon, Una Copley, Patrice and Laurence Falzon, Beatrice Fiorenzo, Marilyn (Elson) Hofer, Carole Hansen, Patrick Jacques, Marie Louise Ouka and Puck Wullenweber, as well as some of our spouses. It was quite amazing to see each other again after 35 years. Most of us had not seen each other since the bac. We had an absolutely wonderful time catching up, as well as reminiscing about all the bétises we did as students. Everyone was unanimous in saying we should do this again in the not too distant future with more of our classmates. We reached everyone thanks to the listings available through the Alumni Association, so please make sure your information on the site stays current if you want to be included next time.
