Cinco de Mayoby Vanessa der Calousdian ('96)New York Many thanks to Vanessa der Calousdian '96, who organized a Cinco de Mayo party at a New York Lounge this May. A number of alumni were counted among the group of 40 friends and friends of friends. The night took its cue from the party goers. A little rain didn't stop 30+ Lycée alumni and friends from having a fabulous time at lower Park Avenue's Sage lounge. Those who got to the party soaking wet, were quickly ready to drink, chat, mingle and be merry. The crowd was more stylish than the art on the mahogany walls. As a typical alumni reunion, elegance and cultural diversity were aplenty. We enjoyed representation from many different classes, including Micheline Dugué '87, Anastasia Trifonoff '96, Alessandra Gagliardi '86, Michel Bénéat '83, Gloria Tulliu '73, Stéphane Lautner '98, Stephen Allen '80, Druce Vertes '83, and Isabelle Sajous '94. Such a turnout is just another example of how one night can make us all feel connected. |
