Nicolas Mazuranic wrote: "Hi, it’s been a long time since I left New York, 20 years ago to move back to Geneva in Switzerland. I did all my studies there and completed an MS in Business Administration at the HEC Geneva in 2002. I started working at L’Oréal as a Product Manager. Three years later, this job brought me to Paris to work as a Global Project Manager. Finally, I just moved back to New York after 20 years, to work as a Senior Manager of Global Marketing for Redken (another L’Oréal-owned brand). It’s very exciting to be back in New York. I contacted Thomas Hernandez ('97) in Paris but we didn’t get a chance to see each other before I left. And now, I’m trying to get back in touch with Vérane (de Marffy Mantuano) Grange ('97) and Eléonore Marchand ('97) and should be seeing them soon."

Vérane (de Marffy Mantuano) Grange wrote: "It has been quite the adventure since I graduated from LFNY in 1997. I first attended the MBA Institute in Paris France where I received a bachelor's of art in International Marketing. Then I completed a DESS at Sciences Po in Paris for 2 years in Market Research and Marketing. I met my future husband and we moved to NY. For 4 years, I have been working for l'Oreal USA as a Global Product Manager on the Maybelline brand. I got married on September 4th, 2004 and I am expecting a baby for the beginning of May. It's a boy and I hope he will attend LFNY!"

Sareh Javaheri Saatchi wrote: "I am currently working for Harry Winston, in NYC, as the Retail Operations Manager for the US and Europe."

Thomas Hernandez shared this with us:"Hello everyone, it's been a while since I wanted to post some news after seeing so many of you post some updates! I left LFNY after my 7eme to go back to France (that was.... 17 years ago!!). A quick look back: I went through high school at Lycée Louis le Grand in Paris, completed BS and MS degrees at Arizona State University, and I'm now a software engineer at Amazon.com. This job brought me to Seattle, WA where I stayed for 2+ years. I recently moved from the US back to France, still working for Amazon. I now work in Paris and live in Compiegne, with my wife Cécile.
Unfortunately I lost contact with all of my good friends (Carlos, Vladimir, Eleonore, Federica, Verane -- I shouldn't have started listing names, now I'm forgetting some) but I'd love to get back in touch. I hope you're all doing well. As for myself, I'll try not to wait another 17 years before posting another update... Take care."

WEDDINGS/MARIAGES:
Daphné Silva ('97) married Guillaume de Vitton de Peyruis on September 9th, 2006. The marriage was celebrated in Longueil-Sainte-Marie. The couple now lives in Paris.
● From Marie (Raoul-Duval) Vaslin ('97): "I just got married to Marc Vaslin (on July 8, 2006) a tax lawyer. We should be moving to Geneva beginning of 2007."

● From Julien Renard: "More than 10 years have past seen my lycée days and I felt it was time I gave some sign of life (since my two brothers already did). After the baccalauréat, I graduated from Medical school and I am currently an intern in Urology and Urological surgery in Turin, Italy, doing among other things (lots of skiing) a little research on kidney and prostate cancer therapy. If you have read the precedent class notes, you will notice that the entire Renard Family is spread around Europe with one older brother (who got married) living in Holland, the other one going back and forth between Madrid, Paris and Lyon and the parents in Switzerland. Unfortunately, I have lost contact with many of my New York friends: Alec, David, Jeremy, Laurent: guys, give me a sign of life as well. I am sending you a picture of my 'fidanzata' Silvia (she's a pediatrician in training) and me (but I don't think I changed a lot). I hope to hear from you all."

Hélène (De Bock) Hiernaux wrote: "I married Yves Hiernaux at the Hotel de Ville of Brussels, on the Grand'Place on September 3, 2005. We're living in Brussels for the moment, but are looking forward to a life of travel together and will hopefully hop by New York!"

Vladimir Colas wrote: "15 years, almost day to day after having left the Lycee, I just moved back to NY this summer, transferred by the company I was working for in Paris (AXA Private Equity). It's great to be back! I would be happy to meet those who are still around - maybe at the next class reunion?"

Jennifer Rowe writes: “Hi. Since leaving New York in July 1997, I have moved back to Canberra, Australia where I have been living for the past 5 years. I have been studying at the Australian National University, and in Feb 2003 I will finish my Law Degree. I have also done an Arts Degree (majoring in Italian and German) and got a Scholarship from the Italian Government to go to Bologna in March 2003 to study and write an Honours Paper there. Who knows what will happen after that? I would love to spend some time in Europe. My parents have been posted to Sweden, so I will definitely go and visit them there some time next year. All is well with us all. Hope to hear from many of you one day... “
