- Bastille Day Ball 2008New YorkThe AALFNY is a proud sponsor of the 2008 Bal du 14 Juillet! This year, the annual Bastille Day Ball in NY will be held on Monday, July 14th from 8:00pm to 2:00am at Spotlight Live. The festivities are organized by the Comité des Associations Françaises et de Langue Française (CAFUSA) and held under the high patronage of his Excellency M. Pierre Vimont, Ambassador of France to the US. The venue will once again be Spotlight Live, a modern three-floored venue in Times Square, 1604 Broadway (at 49th Street). Joe Battaglia and the NY Big Band will provide the music for the first part of the evening and French Tuesday DJs take it from there. The AALFNY is very proud to be a sponsor again this year, and your president served on the organizational committee. Over a dozen alumni have already purchased tickets for this very enjoyable event.
