Joseph Szilva Art ShowHelene Mokus de Barcza ’74A few classmates asked me to mention my husband’s participation in a group show at the Garner Tullis gallery last May. The space, located on the border of TriBeCa, was a perfect showcase for the three artists showing their work. My husband, Joseph Szilva exhibited mixed media pieces as well as selection from a series of works. A photographer and painter shared the gallery space with him that evening. Joseph is now currently showing out of his studio. Thanks so much to everyone who joined us that evening, including Gloria Tulliu ‘73, Diane Rivers ’74, Susan Schwenger ‘80, Paul Schwenger ‘84, Alessandra Gagliardi ’86, Micheline Dugué ’87, and Claudia Baena ‘74 and her husband. I have been busy working on some great holiday specialty catalogues and print advertising, mostly tabletop and still life with some character/wardrobe thrown in. |
