I remain in contact with many LFNY classmates, including Martine Gren ('00), who I see frequently. I also have the pleasure of being the godmother to Martine's two beautiful girls, Giselle (soon to be six years old) and Natasha (three years old.) Facebook allows me to remain in touch with many other LFNY classmates from my class, and from other classes as well, which has been fantastic. My older sister Daniela Tahindro ('95) still resides in Paris, where I last travelled in November 2009, and was also able to catch the comedy duo "Coco et Véro" in Paris, and catch up with the creators, fellow '99 classmates Sophie Beaulieu and Emilie Rosanvallon. During that trip, I was also able meet with Laura Mamelok ('99) who resides in Paris. In October of last year, I attended Caroline's School of Comedy, at the famed Caroline's Comedy club, and successfully performed my stand-up routine there on two occasions. Though the club has asked me to return, (and I even received kudos from Saturday Night Live alum Darell Hammond, who loved my performance!) I think, I'll continue to pursue my other interests for now, such as photography. I have self-published a photo book on Madagascar, and I currently maintain a photo-blog of my favorite photographs, some of which have gathered some interest from some friends and acquaintances. I have transformed my photographs into various formats, including prints on canvas, as well as framed prints. Below is the link to my book and website. Anyone interested in any photographs can feel free to contact me at joelletahindro[at]gmail.com. I wish the Lycée community, past and present, all the best."
