Production on the film - written and directed by 2001 Marietta High School graduate Chad Eddy - started in the area on June 7 [2010] and is expected to wrap up Thursday...........The movie tells the story of two people who fall in love after meeting on an Internet dating site, but a past one-night stand re-emerges to ruin everything.......Giselle Brasseur is portraying the female lead, Maggie. This was her first experience with this type of project, she said. "In school, I did Broadway theaters and small student films," said Brasseur, answering questions in a French accent that disappeared when she performed her scenes as an American Character. Originally from France but now living in New York, Brasseur attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She said she has enjoyed her time in Marietta, which she described as different than what she's used to." ● "Though he would prefer you to simply listen to his music instead of reading this, [Nicolas Jaar] would admit he was born in NY; but quickly relocated to Santiago de Chile in the 90s only to come back to his birth place as a teenager. Haunted by Mulatu Astatke, Erik Satie, Ezekiel Honig and Villalobos’ “Thé au Harem d’Archimède”; Nico started to make organic electronic music in 2004 at the young age of 14. At 17, he debuted with “The Student EP” on Wolf and Lamb Music with remixes by Seth Troxler and Kasper. Now at 18, studying music cognition and philosophy at Brown university in Rhode Island; Nico has a few releases coming up, including some remixes by Ryan Crosson." (http://www.nicolasjaar.net) |
