● "On August 4, 2006, Jean-Marc Donics, his twin brother [Alexander Donics] and two of their best friends embarked on a trip of a lifetime. They attempted to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain at 19,340 feet. With a year having passed since their graduation, the four young men decided to make true on their college promise and climb the mountain once they had secured jobs and settled into life after college. More than an adventure, they wanted to push their minds and bodies to the limit as they attempted to reach heights few people ever reach. Months of planning and training made Jean-Marc very confident that they would reach the summit."
