The Class of '82 held a 30-year reunion in NYC on Friday, June 29, 2012. It started with a get-together on the school's premises, and was followed by a picnic the next day.

To thank the Lycée for hosting the first night's event, Marc Zeitoun and Michel Le Pechoux sent this message to Claude Aska of the LFNY:

"Dear Claude,
On behalf of our 1982 reunion, we’d like to thank you for your hard work and generosity in hosting our event. As you know, with so many coming from so far (Belgium, France, Switzerland, UK, Germany, California, and even remote parts of the tri-state area) it was important that our 30 year reunion be memorable. Your flexibility with the catering, your diligence with the slide show and your openness to having some of our alum teachers present made all the difference. It was more heartwarming than anyone could have anticipated. Each of us felt a very special reconnection to each other and to the School.
As a small token of our appreciation, we will be submitting a $750 donation to the LFNY Annual Fund in our 1982 class name. Thank you again for all your hard work!
Best......Marc & Michel"
