Classes of 1959 & 1960 reunion in New YorkMichael Bleier and Neil Schachter organized a lunch reunion for the classes of '59 and '60 in NYC, on Saturday October 29th. William Rodarmor wrote: "In case you weren't there, Saturday's Lycée alumni lunch with the classes of 1959 and 1960 was great fun. We met at the Fox & Fiddle on Madison Avenue and 97th Street and spent a good three hours talking. Here is my best guess at our names, relationships, etc.; please forgive any errors. Michael Bleier '59 + wife Carol Jackie Buchman '60 Sally Hess '60 Roger Lourie '59 + wife Claude Laurence Thiollier Moscato '59 (in MA) Antoine Polgar '59 + wife Robin (in VT) William Rodarmor '60 (in CA) Neil Schachter '60 Rosette Winger '59 I'd like to say that the attached photos make us all look youthful and handsome, but the opposite is true. Saturday brought a sudden blizzard, and I decided to leave my good camera at home. Instead, I snapped a few photos with my cell phone. They make us look like inmates at Bedlam, but at least you can guess who some of the inmates are....Cheers!" Neil Schachter subsequently wrote: "Don’t sell us short. I think we all look marvelous!" And, Jacqueline Buchman responded: "It was lovely to be together, the weather was quite dramatic and we missed those unable to join us. Thank you Michael and Neil for organizing and to Bill for the photos. And I am in total agreement, Neil, we really all did look marvelous!" |
